Hygge hobbies
One of the important hygge elements, is to have enough time to relax and do something that takes your mind away from evryday problems. If you just sit in a chair without anything to do, you will soon get caught up in everyday life again. That is why you must have something to do. There are a lot of activities and even hobbies which matches perfect with hygge. It can be as simple as reading a book or listen to a podcast or perform a hobby such as crafts and needlework, like knitting, sewing or crocheting. It can be so solve a puzzle or some other simple brain challenges like soduko or solitaire, both easy accessable on an iPad, but also in an analog world with a deck of cards or a soduko from a paperbased newspaper. You can aslo watch a good movie, maybe also a movie you have seen before and know you like, of course under a blanket.
You don´t even have to be in a chair, or under a blanket to pursuit hygge hobbies. Baking or making food which you share with friends and family is for many a great hobby. Norwegians love wintersports on the TV and a favourite hygge moment for many Norwegians is to crawl under a blanket on a Saturday afternoon to watch skiing in any form on their TV.
